Action requires emotion. Emotion creates action. The videos and stories I share here will have one thing in common. They have provoked some kind of emotion in me, emotions that make me want to act. My greatest hope is that they have a similar effect on you.

Grace VandeWaal won America's Got Talent last week and I couldn't be happier. Throughout the entire show Grace has remained humble, positive and loving towards all of her opponents. Her final performance "Clay" was an original on pushing past the mean comments and staying strong. Enjoy.

Micoraggression
Monday September 19, 2016
The things that we say affect people in many different ways, they can make us smile and laugh, they can make us cry and get mad, they can make us look at ourselves and others in a different light, and they can make us see the world differently. Our words can do a lot of different things and sometimes, whether we know it or not we can offend people. Microaggression is a form of "unintended discrimination," and I think that this video does a very good job at showcasing examples of it. We should all become familiar with it and hopefully can learn to filter through what we say and make sure that there's no microaggression, because microaggression hurts people, regardless of whether the discrimination was intended or not. Try to be aware of what you say and do your best to use your words to make someone happy, isntead of bringing them down.

Thank You Mom

There are few people in the world who have the opportunity to watch a human grow and mature from the time they are born. Parents are one of the small groups of humans that are offered that chance. Your parents get to watch you as you make your way through life, failing and winning and becoming the person you are meant to be. Make sure to thank your parents for helping you on your way to achieving greatness.
